*A brief note on Saddles

A HANDMADE saddle is an investment that should last for generations with proper care and use.  These saddles are made in a traditional manner.  Each piece is cut from the appropriate part of the hide, wet and formed to the tree, the stirrup leathers are stretched and turned, skirts are blocked, etc ..... no shortcuts. 

From the higher end rawhide covered wood tree, Hermann Oak leather, bark tanned sheepskin to the handtied mohair cinch ........ nothing has replaced these natural materials and traditional methods for fit, form and function.
